Advancing Healthcare Quality for a Better Quality of Life

Since its establishment in July 1995, the Egyptian Society for Quality in Healthcare has operated as a nongovernmental, nonprofit civil society organization dedicated to advancing the quality of healthcare and public health and promoting a culture of quality as a foundation for improving health services and achieving a better quality of life.


The Society’s work is grounded in scientific evidence and is carried out in collaboration with government agencies, civil society organizations, and the private sector, both locally and internationally. Its activities include awareness programs, training, consulting, research, and fieldwork, supported by specialized experts and consultants in healthcare and quality.


Throughout its history, the Society has participated in scientific conferences, development projects, training programs, and capacity-building initiatives. It has also contributed to initiatives aimed at improving health services, supporting institutions, empowering young people, and promoting sustainable development.

Quality and Continuous Improvement

The Society participates in developing, reviewing, and evaluating quality standards, indicators, and improvement programs in health and healthcare in collaboration with relevant organizations locally and internationally. It also contributes to the development of healthcare quality policies, procedures, and programs.

The Society’s activities also include monitoring and evaluating the quality of health programs and services in a wide range of areas, including patient safety, maternal and child care, family planning, health education, healthy nutrition, medical outreach programs, medical tourism, and elderly care.

Training and Capacity Building

The Society designs and implements training programs in healthcare and public health to strengthen the capabilities of healthcare providers and professionals working in various organizations, while promoting the concepts of quality and continuous improvement.

The Society also participates in programs designed to strengthen the organizational, administrative, and technical capacities of associations and civil society organizations working in public health and healthcare service delivery.

Awareness and Consulting

The Society provides consulting services in the field of healthcare quality and works to raise public awareness of the concept of quality and the importance of applying standards that ensure more efficient healthcare services.

The Society uses conferences, seminars, discussion forums, scientific activities, and media platforms as tools for sharing knowledge, exchanging expertise, and discussing issues and developments related to healthcare quality.

Research and Technology

The Society participates in scientific research and development projects with long-term impact. It also supports the adoption of modern technologies and the use of innovative solutions and emerging developments relevant to its areas of work.

Through these efforts, the Society seeks to connect scientific knowledge with practical application, strengthening the ability of healthcare institutions and professionals to respond to modern changes and developments.

The Society collaborates with the private sector, civil society, and local and international organizations on sustainable development activities aimed at improving the health of individuals and communities.
