Our Projects

Toward Sustainable Health Impact

The Egyptian Society for Quality in Healthcare implements development projects and programs aimed at improving healthcare services, supporting institutions, and building the capacity of healthcare providers, while also preparing young people and enhancing their readiness to enter the workforce in healthcare and related support fields.

The Society implements its projects through effective partnerships with the government and private sectors and civil society organizations, helping ensure tangible and sustainable impact for individuals, institutions, and the communities served.

Medical Equipment Supply Project for Outpatient Clinics

Project Period: 2016–2021
Location: Beheira Governorate – Rashid General Hospital and Edko Central Hospital
Partner: BP Egypt (British Petroleum – West Nile Delta Gas)

Project Description

The project aimed to support and strengthen healthcare services by supplying essential medical and non-medical equipment to outpatient clinics at the targeted hospitals. The project was implemented under the patronage of the Governor of Beheira.

Key Activities

Supplying the targeted clinics and hospitals with modern medical equipment and systems, including:
- CT scanners.
- Surgical equipment.
- Blood bank equipment.
- Medical laboratory equipment.
- Hemodialysis units.
- Medical gas systems.
Training healthcare providers and administrative staff in Japanese quality improvement methodologies, including:
- 5S
- KAIZEN
- TQM
- Supporting the implementation of quality improvement methodologies to enhance service efficiency and ensure sustainability.

Impact

The project contributed to improving clinical and operational performance at the targeted hospitals and enhancing the quality of healthcare services provided to patients, particularly outpatient services.

Training for Employment Programs

The Society places particular emphasis on empowering young people and preparing them for the workforce through training programs that combine theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and professional and life skills, with a focus on jobs related to healthcare and support services.

Quality Healthcare Is a Right for All” Project“

Target Group: Young people aged 19–40

Project Description

The project aimed to empower young people through practical and theoretical training programs in fields related to healthcare support services, with the goal of improving their employment opportunities and preparing them for the workforce while contributing to better healthcare quality within the community.

Elderly care and home caregiving.
Dental laboratory technician training.
Medical equipment maintenance.
Healthy nutrition.
Quality supervision in healthcare services.

Practical Training Locations

Dokki International Hospital.
Saudi German Hospital.
Hedayah Elderly Care Home.
Al Shorouk Hospital in Mohandessin.
International Medical Center.
Dental laboratories in Heliopolis and Nasr City.

Impact

Trained 100 young men and women.
A significant number of graduates secured suitable employment opportunities in the healthcare and private sectors.

“Forsa” Project – Youth Employment in the Healthcare Sector

Location: Fayoum Governorate
Partner: Ministry of Social Solidarity
Target Group: Young people aged 19–40

Project Description

The project aimed to enhance young people’s employability in the healthcare sector by providing theoretical and practical training in key fields related to healthcare services, along with career guidance and the development of the life and behavioral skills required for successful integration into the workforce.
